Nasty C's tumultuous past with his stage name has been exposed. According to insiders, the "Juice Back" hitmaker didn't own the rights to his moniker until December 2020.
The name "Nasty C" was actually owned by his former management team, Freeworld Music. When the two parties parted ways, Nasty C found himself in a legal battle over the rights to his stage name.
The rapper allegedly had to shell out R4 million to regain control of his name. Had he not been successful, he would have had to perform under a new stage name - Ivyson.
