Local Artist Warns Supporters to Beware of Impersonators Demanding Money and Personal Info

Emiky, a local musician, has taken to social media to warn his fans about fake pages and accounts impersonating him.

In a Facebook post, Emiky expressed his frustration and disappointment, stating that he's been receiving complaints from fans who have paid for promotions, thinking they were dealing with him directly. However, these fans were actually interacting with fake pages and accounts.

Emiky urged his fans to be cautious and not to send money or personal info to anyone they're not 100% sure of. He also advised fans to block and report any suspicious accounts.

The musician shared screenshots of some of the fake pages on Facebook, exposing the scammers who are using his name and image to deceive fans.

Emiky emphasized that he only has one official page and account, "Emiky Ngomph'lo Line," and rarely uses it. He advised fans to be vigilant and not to engage with any pages or accounts that ask for personal or financial information. The incident serves as a reminder to fans to be cautious.
